Needless to say the lady behind the counter had me come up to the front of the DMV parking lot bacause she had never seen a $150k Ford race car...

You gotta love North Carolina!

Similar thing happened to me -- the dmv lady actually walked out with me to the far end of the parking lot, just to see it. And this is in bay area california! Meanwhile, the parking lot had at least 2 high end porsches that we walked by.

As per taxes at the DMV I had to pay the 4% of the value of the car from the bill of sale... so around 6K.

TRADE YUH.

Here in Taxington the bill was 'figgered' at 8.9% :mad
