I am attempting to remove the complete dash assembly and could use any help that someone who has done this could offer.
Followed the service manual, but as I look at the dash there still seems to be more to do than the manual states. Above where the steering column goes there is an extruded aluminum tubing that connects the dash to the pedal assembly. Do I need to undo the pedal assembly from the tubing or does it separate at the dash?
Also are there bolts in the center of the dash that need to be removed (looks like one on each side of the center support)?
Any help would be appreciated.

I'm about to do the same job guys, so please be verbose.....

Well from memory, the clutch line needs to be undone,, there are 2 bolts in front of the windscreen near the wipers, one each side that secure the aluminium extrusions you mentioned, under rubber grommets, they are torque head,,. All the heater hoses and aircond lines need to be disconnected from the heater aircond unit,, Brake booster, 4 bolts up under the pedals, centre console, radio console. Before you start you will need to get the Aircond degassed(law in Australia, you just cant release the gas to the atmosphere),You can undo the 4 bolts that secure the steering column to the dash, and lay it down.. Definitely a 2 man job to do the actual removal of the complete dash assembly. I will try to get a pic of the bolts infront of the windscreen

This should help with the location

Thanks for the help. The unbolting of the brake pedals and booster is what was missing (not in service manual). After the removal of the center support (radio console) are there any mounting points in the center section?

Curious, why are people removing their dashboards?

I made a mistake, I'm only removing the gauge cluster....the SpeedHut thing.....misread......

There is nothing else in the centre, just remember to release the wiring form the gauge module and heater, brake and clutch sensors up near the pedal fulcrums.
