...Speaking of which, are windshields likely to become hard to get?

Yes - they are made by the manufacturer as needed when ordered - takes a short wait - 1-2 weeks. Hopefully will be available as long as the manufacturer is in business. For what you get, one of the most reasonable GT parts to purchase.

I agree with conditioning! I have some old alfas with leather. Some surfaced dyed versus vat died. I have been oiling since new and still look great, when compared to comparable models of similiar age mine are doing much better! I am not convinced of the quality of the leather in the GT : seems very thin when compared to my German cars! Also seats seem to show wear quickly! I thing oil base is the way to go: water base evaporates therefore drying it out! Just my philosophy but seems to work.! Sealers are temporary!

Since reading this thread, I went out and purchased the 303 Aerospace Protectant to check results. I had been using Griots product for rubber care in the past.

Never on leather.

Used to use 303 on all interior trim except reflective surfaces in my other cars (gauges, nav screen) because it smears. Good product for UV protection but I stopped using it because unless you buff it off thoroughly, it will leave unsightly (but not permanent) streaks and spots. Never had any other issues with it, even on leather.
