Tomorrow morning I'll be driving the Dalton Highway with my family in a rented Taurus with a full damage waiver. It's 11 pm in Fairbanks and it's broad daylight-I can't sleep. I need some Maker's Mark.

I guess I could have made up a story about driving my GT there. But the photos would have been lost when the car was repo'ed.

Amazing how the light effects your body. Obviously in the winter it gets dark at 3-4pm.
Always time for a Makers! Understand it is a beautiful drive, take pictures, photoshop the GT back in. :)

There are 6 GT's here in Anchorage, none that I know of in Fairbanks. Not likely you will see one, most here never move.

Now sleeping while the sun is still shinning is easy, just pretend your taking a nap...
Most people here are used to it, but there are some with their windows covered in foil trying to find darkness, but then in the winter they whine about no light!!

My son and I were wondering how many GTs were hiding up here. I'm not surprised they don't get driven much. While the roads are good, the gravel
can be unforgiving on a car. I was in Alaska in 2006 on a motorcycle and loved it. Your state is beautiful. We will be back in Anchorage in a couple of days.

Sinovac,
I was just reading the dream garage thread, you are welcome to stop in to my garage in progress. PM me when you are back in Anchorage.

Sinovac, what a sense of humor. Please make sure we all know when your car gets repo'd so we can bid on it ourselves.
