Could $300,000 be the new Benchmark for a Delivery Mile FGT

A few days back Mecum in Chicago had 3 FGT go to auction, The least expensive was a 2005 Red Stripe delete with 384 miles and it sold for $300,000 at the hammer. When I was in the market recently a "person of knowledge" told me that a Red Stipe delete FGT was the most affordable, not factoring in miles for a true apples to apples comparison.
If there is some truth to this wouldn't $300,000 be a nice Benchmark?

There were three Ford GTs at this auction:

Lot S125.1 2006 Heritage 182 miles. Did not meet reserve with final hammer at 425K.

Lot S147.1 2006 black/silver 300 miles sold for 335K

Lot S162 2005 red no stripe 384 miles sold for 300K

I heard Chuck Norris offered $750k for the Heritage and the guy laughed in his face!

You don't laugh in Chuck Norris's face...that would be fatal..
Chuck Norris doesn't do push ups...he pushes the earth down.
When Chuck Norris has surgery the doctors need anesthesia..
And so it goes

Not sure if you are joking, but....

So having Heritage paint is worth an extra Half mil? :lol

Would think pricing is somewhat related to availability and as far as production numbers go for colors, red w/stripes, white w/stripes and tungsten w/stripes are the most common at 1, 2 and number 3. Red stripe delete are down at number 20 out of 23 color/stripe combos and see two of them on ebay right now. Of course the heritage color is the abnormal valuation of the bunch not to mention the sonic blue.

Don't forget to add the buyers fee percentage, for the full cost.

10yrs from now when these celibacy/miles-freaks kick the bucket: i will buy them with dollars depreciated by 33% (3% inflation x 10 ~)

So I'll pay the same and they will be tight as ever.....probably date their young GFs/wives, who will be too...if they treat them like these GTs

I hope not, for my sake!

$200K, 20K mi. GTs can be had all day long...

1 for sale now.

Well then maybe the strong auction sales this year will bring up the 20k mile veterans:-)

The $209K sale on the 20K miles GT on the other forum is on hold due to seller.
