Corroded Center Caps BBS Wheels

Does anyone else have corrosion on your center caps?

Two of my center caps look perfect and the other two are corroded all to hell.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if so did you just buy new ones or did you somehow fix it?

You can buy replacements pretty cheap. Torrie here on the forum can help, but he is on his way to the Rally. Look at the vendor section and please consider becoming a subscriber if you are a GT Owner.
 
Yeah I can get some replacements, I was just wondering if anyone else had the same issue and maybe knew why it happened.

Just don't want to do something to the new ones to make them corrode :)

The only thing that would contribute to discoloration/corrosion is a harsh chemical such as wheel cleaners that typically have some acid in them.
 
I have been thru 3 sets on my car it just occurs. At least they are inexpensive and why I keep them around for customers who need them.
