My dad and I will be there to watch and the GT will be there in show to represent one of the greatest vehicles ever built.

Anyone else in town for the event? How bout the local owners?

There is always a great selection of pre-1970's car at the Copperstate. Pretty cool seeing them at the start and during the 1000 mile trek through AZ. I believe there were close to 100 cars last year.

I'll be there tomorrow to see the "send off". Have a few friends driving in it this year and hope to drive in it myself in the coming years.

I hear there's also a 1000 in CA? I'll have to look into that one too.
