Was just wondering of the GT owners, who also has a Cobra(replica or real). I'll start...had a CSX4000 from Shelby American, sold and got an Aluiminum FIA Hybrid from Kirkham, then sold that and now have a Contemporary FIA.

1986 AC Mark IV aluminum body with 8,600 miles purchased 7 years ago from 83 yr. old man in Dallas, Texas. Perfect condition ,original condition. All I've done to it is replace original English Goodyear Tires (hard rubber) for Goodyear GT-II tires. No squeeks or rattles like new. 5.0 V-8 weighs 2,350 and is #124 of 348 built between 1983-89. Color is off white. Never overheats like the big blocks. Leather top never been on this Cobra. Stored in climate controled warehouse for many years before I purchased it. Love it as well as my GT. Have a 427 SC model built by Paul Bennett in Hayward, California. He built about 12 cars, using his own design for frame and suspension. Engine is a 460 SVO with a reworked Ford Toploader. 9 inch Ford rearend, and a 18 gallon fuel cell. Carburetion is through a 1250 cfi Holley Dominator. Ignition is a 6AL MSD. Wheels are Youngblood outers with remanufactured Halibrand centers. Body is fiberglass and color is dark blue with white stripe. This contrasts nicely with my Heritage and my 1963 Studebaker Avanti, (original owner). When I figure out how to post a pic, and find a suitable place to take this pic, I will share.

Still building E-M brand new 427 stroked side oiler, nitros, C-6 Automatic, 9" Ford with Detroit Locker. Almost finished, and then I bought my GT. Built complete car myself (retired Ford Tech). Really have to get it done soon my garage is just to full. Told myself I "must" get it done this winter. Check with me in the spring to see if really happens.

I have a 1996 Component Craft. It got a 351W in it. It Dyno'd 602HP on the ground. It's a beast. Unfortunately at 130mph it's also an airplane.

Kirkham 427 (Aluminum, of course), Shelby Aluminum 427, 482", Billet Crank, Rods, etc. 600 H.P., weighs about 2100. Violent and scary, just the way I like it. Turns into a wind sail at about 140 mph, but getting there is a blast.

We Have a Superformance roadster, 427 stroked to 484cuin, Tremic TKO 5 speed.

I have two Factory Five Coupe's. Sold my Spec Racer last year. I've owned a FFR Roadster in the past.

I also own www.ffcobra.com which is dedicated to Cobra replicas; mainly focused on the FFR products. But all Cobra owners are welcome.

How many of you have gone to Spring Fling Double Venom? Now it's called The London Cobra Show. I went in 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006.

CSX 4000 aluminum body with all alloy Shelby 427 built to 468, is scary fast. CSX 3000 originally built by, and recently refreshed by, Mike McCluskey, has orig 427 side oiler and is drop dead gorgeous.

Spf 2080

I own a Superformance MKII

Detail stuff:
SP 2080, built in Feb of 2005, licensed by Shelby International, indigo blue, white stripes, red rookie stripes. It has: 427W, 570HP, Dart block, AFR aluminum head, JE Pistons, .600 Comp Cam, Bary Grant 850CFM, aluminum flywheel, Centerforce clutch, Lakewood blow proof bell housing, Dana 3:46 diff, Trem TKO 600 5 spd - .82 fifth, factory hardtop, runs the quarter in 12.2 @ 118 with 2.2 60 ft time - street tires and granny shifting. Realistically, with drag radials, mid-high 11 car. Excellent quaility factory build by Hi Tech (SPF) in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, suppliers of the CSX 4000 series Shelby Cobra's. Great car; it fits the bill.

I would post a picture right here, but I don't know how to do that just yet.

Complete the set!

Hey, if you have a GT40 in your garage you gotta put a Cobra in there to keep it company. I just bought this one. Kirkham #304, aluminum body, stainless steel frame, Shelby aluminum 427 stroked to 482, webbers, all Kirkham options, 600+ horsepower. Here's a photo.

Have a Peter Brock Superformance Cobra Daytona[SPF 19] keeping GT company in garage. Blue with white stripes, Roush 427R, Tremec 6 spd, Accusump, loud, hot, smelly :biggrin and a real handful to drive quickly on the track-hence the reason for the "Bi Yotch" license plate.

Here's me at Willow Springs

I bought it used with very low miles. I couldn't wait to go for a ride in yours and I was blown away when I saw this Kirkham. I look forward to going on a run with our two cars, cobras or GT's.

Did mine backwards (like most things I do...according to my wife), I bought a Cobra before I bought the GT. I have a 1964 Cobra (CSX 2265) that I bought in 1984. It was an independent comp. car that was originally bought at Coventry Motors in Walnut Creek, California in April, 1964. I would be glad to post a picture as soon as I take the time on figuring out how to post pictures on this site. In the past also had a 1966 Tiger, a 1972 Pantera, and a 1966 GT-350 (#1100). The GT-350 was red with white stripes. Hey, hold it. My GT is red with white stripes. I must be in a rut. :biggrin
