Not quite sure what this means.

I don't remember what my number was, but it probably wasn't real good. What I do remember, the last time a doctor checked it, was him telling me that I had the same cholesterol level as "Aunt Jemima". :ack

I'm quite sure you guys are upsetting "BonEy!"

PS Kayvan, had you been fasting at least 10 hours before the blood draw? Otherwise values are not really significant. Dr. Frank

Yes exactly....you did a great job when you selected your parents :cheers

For me you could double the bad ones & divided the good ones (hdl) by 2....grrrr.
I get my checked 3 times a year. It normal now but I have to take some pills & eat right.

Whats for dinner.....chicken or fish or may be fish or chicken :willy...red meat, for get about it:thumbsdow

Somewhat of a fast. Dinner night before; tea/lime in AM test at 2pm

Been same level +/-5 for last 7 yrs.

Though once during xmas, had a draw & the bad stuff popped up 15%

The only reason your results are this good is because you are Short and Ugly. Just Kiddin - I'm happy for you.

My Dad who is 75 eats anything and everything and his Cholesterol is slightly better than yours. My oldest Son who is 12 has marginal Cholesterol. Diet definetly helps, but the genes are everything.:thumbsup:thumbsup

How did we all survive the cholesterol menace B4 we had TESTS for same? (Before tests were avail, I don't remember chol. ever even being MENTIONED by anybody.)

Kinda like asking whuddid we all do B4 cell phones I suppose...

My own darn self, I don't touch red meat 'cause of "Mad Cow" popping up every 5 minutes, not outta any concern for my cholesterol count (shoot. I don't have a CLUE what my 'count is :willy).

('Haven't eaten beef in pbly 10 years or so now. :bored)

Why would it upset me, it is all about genes...
When I was 360' it was 170
Now at 200' it is 135
I eat meat three times a day, drink wine, Makes and smoke 5 to 6 cigars a day... And am married to the same women for 35 years.

"And am married to the same women for 35 years. " That's legal here in Texas, but I thought it was one on one there in Californication. Guy on guy, gal on gal, guy on gal....whatever.

Congrats, have a bowl of Fettucini Alfredo (its Mediterranean).....to celebrate. At your cholesterol level, you will probably feel it increasing.
