Ceramic Coating in Phoenix Area? Or send to Jet Hot...

I'm about to order a set of Borla headers (not the full length) and I was wondering if there are any shops in the Phoenix area that do good ceramic coating. It looks like the Jet-Hot in Tempe closed down. Is Jet Hot (in OK) the best place to use or are there alternative recommendations?

Have not personally used but APC has been used by others with good results:

My mistake, not sure they do ceramic coating.

I'm sorry, no help on an AZ coating shop. I send everything I need done to Calico Coatings. Like most anything that requires adhesion, surface preparation is the key. Calico is very good about doing the prep work properly. If you are doing the Borla muffler box too, make sure to check all the seems for weld fatigue. I had a couple of issue with mine.

Additionally, if you are wanting to reduce the temps inside the engine area try using inconel heat shields around the headers. It makes a huge difference. I think we dropped the temps back there about 100F.

Lot of folks like to try "others" coatings.... Why chance anything, send it to Jet Hot. Proven coatings that work well.

Jet Hot in NC quoted me $355 for coating and polishing. Have Borla ship the headers directly to Jet Hot.

This is who I used for my Borla setup.. They actually redid the the headers , before shipping , because they didn't pass there internal inspection. While I haven't used them because of legalities of annual inspections in NY, they do look nice on my parts shelf.. Future change in residency will help with the inspection issue :)
