I don't have experience with that particular unit but do have experience with land line to cell converters. We use them on alarm systems as cell backup should the land line fail or the lines be cut. We just replaced the unit in Cleveland from analog to digital. It cost $279.00

not worth a damn. if you have wifi at home and need cheaper local/ld calls. but iphone install skype app .. open skype account, get unlimited plan and local number.

I save about $500.00 a month in comm costs personally with it. Also dumping the home phone gets around so many other charges and issues.

911 works from any cell phone triangulated within 10 feet in USA. some states are better but that is the average.

No... but I do have something that plugs into my router and creates a 'cell'. This has given me cell phone coverage in my house when previously there was none.

Neilda has a true Fixed/ Wireless converged offering from BT with a Femto cell product deployed. In the US the operators (AT&T, Verizon etc..) are still in planning of this true converged offering.

Sam - In ~ 1 yr. you should see something different, working and easy to deploy....

I have a Panasonic unit that is WiFi enabled so that all calls into the cellphone are directed to the landline when initiated. That way I don't have to carry a cellphone and a landline around the house with me at all times.
