i almost bought this car from a houston dealer but was a day late... when i asked who bought it they guy hemmed and hawed and then said it was a famous singer... when he realized i didn't care, he said it was john mayer... funny
 
He's had the car at least since last June (2008). It's cool that this amazing bluesman celeb chose the GT, and it's still cool to see all the celebs that have (or had, like Nick Cage) a GT. I only recall when John Mayer got it since I remember reading about him driving it around the same time I got mine.
 
about 6 months ago there was a you tube showing him pulling away from a nightclub and trying to smoke the tires but he was in third and smoked the clutch:biggrin
 
Hollywood types smoke a lot of things. Rarely though can they smoke a tire...
