Hey everyone,

I recently bought a used 2015 Audi S4 with 146,000 miles, and I want to do a thorough history check to ensure everything is in order.

While I have the basics like the Carfax report and service records from the seller, I'm curious if there are other resources or methods to uncover hidden issues, especially for Audis.

Are there specific databases or tools that enthusiasts recommend?

Also, any advice on red flags to look for in the history of a high-mileage performance car like this?

Appreciate your insights!

I don't think 150K-ish miles is a bad thing, instead I consider it a good thing that the car got driven regularly. It also reduces the price. You will have some wear related stuff, like door hinges, hatch/hood hinges and struts, shocks, maybe suspension bushings, and the like. I would want a good record of maintenance and repairs. If lacking good maintenance records, lower the offer accordingly.

Did you get a PPI? That should help identify any latent issues.

This poster has a a couple of threads now that have little to no relevance to FGT's. Also after the initial post, zero participation.
