It was just announced on Fox news that Pres. Bush has granted an 11th hour pardon to the two men. :banana:banana:banana

Don't think it was a full pardon... I think he just commuted the prison sentence, but the conviction still stands... mcuh like Scooter Libby.

Yup. You're 100% right, Mardyn. The headline on the FOX webpage NOW reads: "Bush Commutes Sentences for Two Former Border Patrol Agents".

The teaser I heard earlier used the word "pardon".

But, one way or the other - they're getting OUT!:banana:banana:banana

It's about time!!!

He should have granted them and Scooter Libby a full pardon. Still, I am thrilled they are out. Jailing those two law enforcement officers is a stain of shame on the AG that went after them and upon the president, who is a good friend of that AG, for allowing it.

The freedom of those BP agents is the best news of the week!!

Yeah, what was wrong with those two guys, they shot a know drug smuggler as he was fleeing back into Mexico.
