The recent stripe delete thread revealed that some folks don't know about some of the books that may be of interest for GT fans, so I thought I'd just show a photo index of a bunch of them.

NOTE: One Ford-related but non-GT book I just read and really enjoyed was A. J. Baime's "The Arsenal of Democracy," the story of how Ford built the Willow Run plant and eventually achieved the astounding production rate of completing one B-24 Liberator bomber EVERY HOUR.

In fact, that book was so interesting I then read his book on Truman "The accidental president," which I also enjoyed.

As for Ford GT and other Ford books for enthusiasts, I'll just add photos showing the titles, all are worthy additions to your library.

You know, if you buy 20 automotive books a year for 50 years, it just adds up.......

When I was 10 years old in 1965, I asked for “The Cobra Story“ for Christmas, and my mom sent off for it- I think it was $4.95 direct from Shelby American. Many decades later I was able to have it signed.

There’s a 1965 copy on ebay now if anyone wants a 55 year old copy-

Thanks for the heads up on the Baime ""Arsenal of Democracy" book. Just purchased it.
My Dad was a B24 pilot and flew 23 'fully loaded' missions out of Italy to France, Germany and Romania in WWII.
Several of his Bombers were made at Willow Run. The 'Ford made' bombers carried a large "F" on the tail serial number.
