Any body know the torque values for the belly pans.

Sorry everyone ,I just found them in the FAQ 7Nm/62lb-in. I did a search and came up with torque values for oil drain plugs only, should've dug a little deeper before posting. Thank you all

Wow, 62 lb-ft sounds like a lot for those little bolts.

There are specs but use judgment too. Specs will be too tight in some areas(plastic gets crushed)

That was 62 inch-lbs, but it's really unnecessary to employ a torque wrench on those bolts. Just use your spidey sense.

Ahhh, 5 lb-ft ... that's more like it(y)

How about use of hand torque wrench!
This is kinda a silly.

Just, under NO circumstances, give them any uggas!

Just thinkin' ... torque specs for the belly pan bolts ... man, we're really gettin' down to the FGT's nitty gritty here 😀

I use a nut driver and get them "fist tight." They have a tendency to loosen up and fall out, therefore use some blue Locktite (not red!) too.

I use a torque wrench to spec and they don't loosen.

I have done that, and come back a year later for an oil change, and still missing one or two. You don't have near as many miles as I do, so maybe the screws and the spots they screw into are loosening up. I bought a 10-bag of replacements about 7 years ago. Expensive little items, for what they are.

I'm with PeteK and hand tighten belly pan screws. I just checkem' on the lift for continued tightness. Had to use a dremel on one recently to cut a slot and remove secondary to being stripped. Can someone confirm for me these sizes: we're talking T27 Torx head bolts with captured washers, thread is a M6 x 1.0 with length 25mm on the black belly pan and silver tank pans. What's the length for the 3 black lateral pan screws? Lastly, does anyone have a good source for these? I know there was a group buy years ago via Fenzo. Anyone sourced them from McMaster-Carr? Thanks, Jeff

Well, that's true - I only have 37,000 miles on mine so can't compete with yours. But still, one wouldn't think there would be a difference caused by mileage on a static part ...

If he stuck to the maintenance schedule, he would have removed them 10+ more times than you have. Things are getting squished and stretched.
The main black belly pan bolts, and the six others that take washers are available from Ford.

I agree with Howard. Just "tight". (Anyway, they won't all fall out at once, if you don't get it right.)
So, anti-seize and tight.

BoltDepot makes them in Stainless. Quite nice, and I'm sure infinitely cheaper than Ford, and no VIN Number; back-order/long delivery. Cheaper still if you buy bags of hundred units. Lifetime supply.
