I was at my local dealer (Bob Silva Ford-Chowchilla, CA.) yesterday and looked at 3 GT's. I think he's got another on the way. He is selling at MSRP if anyone is interested. Give him a call at 559-665-4811

White w/stripes
Blue w/stripes, woofer delete
Red w/stripes

Bob who :biggrin ??
He was supposed to participate on the run to Santa Barbra, think he got lost trying to find Riverpark's Starbucks :wink

I've been looking for a second car either yellow w/ stripes or Tungsten w/stripes and have found that most dealers are willing to sell at MSRP but there are a few that will sell below. I'm currently dealing on one that has been offered to me at $7000 BELOW MSRP. I've offered $158000 and they are going to let me know tomorrow. This is an 06 with all options but they've had it for several months. Shop around, right now there are some bargains but with production ending it may not last long.

:eek Theres a rare one...

Bony, I think he went to Cambria instead. I am struggling with the notion to sell my KR and buy a GT. I am just getting to the point in life where I just don't have the energy to work on cars anymore. I have always been a big GT40 fan and have collected things pertaining to it. The GT is just so darn appealing. Just get in and go. Plus it has all the creature comforts that I don't have in the old muscle cars. I am ready to make the move but I am having a tough time convincing my better half. Do I dare ask what you guys would do? My cousin who just bought a Z06 made the comment that I need to ask my wife for my balls back. Best regards, TI :willy

1st... go get $300,000. Go buy her a $150,000 diamond and then get your GT! Problem solved!

Hey Awsum, that advice sounds totally reasonable to me. I'll work on that idea. I have to buy that car no matter what. After all, I might die tomorrow. When I go out I want to do it owning a GT. Just renewed my life ins policy so my daughters could have the car free and clear after I'm gone to GT heaven. I certainly enjoy hanging around this board and listening to you guys. Thanks for the social interaction. TI

Tough call, the KR is appreciating. One thing is for sure, if you want to sell it take it to Barrett Jackson after you have it detailed to concours level and leave with absolute top dollar. The GT is an amazing car. Make a call, never look back. Go for the gusto, you only live once. Good luck :wink

We all have wives and families.

It's hard to do something that feels so selfish.

But you know what, it will make you love her that much more, if she is with you on the deal. Try to involve her if you can and show what the car means to you and why.

If she's not an enthusiast, she probably never will be. It's not your goal to convert her, just to show her why it is so important to you.

I am fortunate that I believe my wife understands. It takes a confident and self-assured woman to not be jealous of this indulgence.

Everyone has their passion. Mine has always been motorcycles and cars. For some, maybe it is gambling, or maybe they have gotten into drugs or alcohol. There are a lot of worse things out there, then passion for a vehicle.

I have found the same. If you are willing to work at it and maybe buy out of state deals are out there. I just paid $166K for an all option Heritage which is about $8K off sticker.
