Belt dressing

Is there a real benefit using belt dressing for our GT's .As increasing the life of the belt or any other benefits.
 
I'd say that on average the GT's belts are lasting an average of 20 years or more without any dressing. Replacing the belts every 20-25 years is probably prudent. (Note: The oil pump belt should be replaced every 10 years in my opinion.)
 
Thank you for your reply, I'm doing an oil change myself for the first time, since the dealers in eastern Washington don't use lifts (4-post) to accommodate the GT. I worry about my belly pans don't know if there even available there's just many parts that are hard to get or not available. I'm looking forward to doing the maintenance on my dream car myself.

A belt that is exercised is a happy belt. Wrapper cars that have 400 miles are probably stiff and checked
