Hennessey vs Hennessey. Tune in to see the most exciting Battle of the Supercars show ever (that is what the producers told me):

Cool. The show sucks, but it's still fun to watch the GT ones. Is this gonna be today's episode?? Paul Tracy makes me embarrassed to be a Canadian. Any chance we can "gift" him to you guys? He did spend a lot of time racing cars in the USA. Just sayin'......

Can not stand Paul Tracy either...Repulsive describes him best....

Care to give any insite on the outcome of this battle , I would expect it was not as one sided as the Gallardo show

We might consider take him off of you guys, if he stops spiking up his ever balding hair!!

looking forward to watching this. looks like it was filmed near my house again......

We tuned both cars to around 850 rwhp on pump gas. The cars weigh within 50 lbs of each other. So we wanted a close race and that is exactly what you will see on October 7 on SPEED TV.

When I say close, I am talking about the difference of half a car length at 180 mph.

Tune in to see how it turns out.

My money is on the GT.

So now we know who to blame IF the ford gt looses. ;)

The Venom has to come out on top. It would be bad for business if the GT won.

I would guess:

0-100-0: GT (we have better brakes!)
Road couse: GT (we have better handling!)
Rolling a mile: slight edge to Viper..... (our gearing is taller)
60-100 (or is it 120?): Viper....( our gearing)

Fubar is a point about business..... though. I swear I'll delete the show if GT comes in less than a draw, hahahaha.

As expected, very tight match.... Unfortunately, the Viper's abs failed repeatedly. It was almost a sweep. I don't understand they chose to do a 1/2 mile drag, when all other shows/cars they did 1 mile drag. I'm curious how it would have ended up in a 1 mile run, as the GT was clearly wheeling in the Viper towards the end of the 1/2 mile. Nonetheless, the Viper is a crazy monster, but the GT just edged it this time...

I thought they said they opted for a half mile run since the Viper was having brake problems. Would be going too fast at the end of a mile.

The car belongs to me. It is at Cars and Coffee in Irvine almost every week. I am CEO of Hennessey Performance.

Great stuff Hennessey! I think Paul's new nickname should be "Mechanical"!!!

Don is a great guy and I can tell you he has done wonders to Hennessey since his involvement commenced.

FGT rules, again! John & Don, outstanding!

Watched it on DVR yesterday but NASCAR or something ran over so they only aired the second half. Looking forward to seeing the entire show.

DGCA, It looked like the GT was using the stock/optional BBS wheels, what were you using for tires? Thanks.
