Has anyone else noticed that for the first time in a long time, BAT has no Gen 2 Ford GT's listed for over a week now.. I wonder if it's to slow the pricing trend?

Sales and bidding has been a bit on the low side

I think there is a surge of original owners now flipping and it's driving the price trends ( along with other factors).. I have found 21 for sale publicly and a few more privately. I am still kicking myself for missing out on one a few weeks ago, I paused and lost it

Maybe just normal ebb and flow, or overall maybe economic concerns, or owners seeing what seems to be a pricing downturn and deciding to keep em instead or just delay the sale ... or ridiculous hot summer temps, or ? Lotta possible factors. With BaT's fee capped at $7,500 on $100K+ sales it doesn't seem like they have much incentive to try to keep NGT prices strong ... ?

All good points and agree… but one factor is the “reserve not met” is a bust for Bat. Still, there is no better place to find or sell a car imo, with over 1 million registered bidders the reach is broad.

I’ve been thinking the same thing. The last 6 months pricing has been a lot lower than previous sales. Many of reserve not met. But it’s not just ford GT’s. Everything is lower on bat. Economy is a little soft.

Right now we are at 2 weeks since the last 17+ FGT has been listed, I think this has not happened in at least a year or two? This is not because there are none for sale, there are 21 I can find publicly + 3 others I know of

Captain Obvious says BAT likely wanting prospective sellers to lower reserves and sellers not agreeing to do so

Possibly nice purchase window for buyers but my crystal ball is always cloudy

The drought is over on BAT

Re-listed white as rice high mileage NFGT

finally.... Not really an all white fan but it does look good

Someone posted my old liquid red GT on Facebook for $780k. I havent been following prices, but seems like a decent deal. They've added about 500 miles in over 2 years. I dont undersatand why people arent driving the hell out of these wonderful machines.

I think you will see more with miles after the cycle of 'flippers' thins out and the new owners have the cars. If you only have 10-500 miles on your FGT and now are selling, you motivation is /was to flip at a profit.

Prices have definitely been softer for these cars and BAT has been much more aggressive with reserves with all owners, not just NFGT. @RaceDeck I completely agree the time of Flipping new cars is coming to a close as manufacturers are just tacking on teh profit for themselves and new cars go down after being delivered not up more often that not

On the other hand Gen 1 GTs are doing very well. Low mileage one on BAT sitting at 500k with more days of AUCTION left.

But that's in Hawaii dollars. Anybody know the conversion rate? 🤪

They're back ... 4 ending on consecutive days starting 10/1:

- 20-mile red '22 Carbon Series https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2022-ford-gt-20/

- 16K-mile red '06 https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2006-ford-gt-191/

- 17K-mile black '05 GTX1 https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2005-ford-gtx1/

- 3,800-mile red '05 https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2005-ford-gt-208-2/

Pretty good selection. Especially if you like red :)

Despite over 25 2017 FTG's currently on market that I know of, there definitely is a slowdown in BAT listings ( the last listing was 9/24 and no sale). I would love to know the business reason why, as there is no lack of people trying to sell.

The non allocation and the after market purchase Flippers are seeing soft pricing and are sitting on a depreciating asset.
The allocation owners have sold out by now or plan on keeping them. Like the 05 and 06 these cars will rise in value at some point with the low production and racing heritage. For me non issue 7,000 miles and driving at least every other week.

I agree... I missed out on one a few months back while I was bidding on a plane and lost the connection in the final back and forth bidding... It would have matched my 05 Quicksliver FGT.. I am still watching for the right one. That said there are quite a few for sale right now, but either not the right spec or wishful thinking dealer offers. :)

Agreed!
Drive and enjoy.
Will keep mine as long as the lord allows.
