That is fricking scary.

That is fricking scary.

+1

I was going to use the word 'terrifying'.

"There but for the Grace of God..."

(My neighborhood looked similar to photo #3 about 10 yrs ago when a main petroleum pipeline ruptured and a spark ignited the mess. Three kids died.)

That is right in the area of the route to Texas Motor Speedway from the Rally. Many of us cruised through there headed to the track.

Terrible news for too many.

Yes, many traveled down Hwy 71 into and out of Austin, Texas going to our Rally. The quaint little of Bastrop, Texas has been devistated by tremendous wildfires and high winds. The new Formula 1 track is being built off of Hwy 71 not far from these fires. Let us pray for the unfortunate and for rain in Texas. Tomy

:agree:

Well said, Tomy.

On Wednesday the smoke shifted towards Austin, the whole city was hazy and smelled like burnt mesquite. Last I heard it was over 1300 homes, and over 35000 acres. Praying for rain, with none in sight.

Hell on earth.

Wow!

Lower right hand corner: Is this someone's name they carved into their land?

Yes. NASA uses it to evaluate the resolution of their cameras!!!

Maybe SilverBullit will chime in as I think he is on Lake Travis
