Okay, no offense to the Lambo guys here but, it looks very similar to the Gallardo.
It's not another variant of the Gallardo?Okay, no offense to the Lambo guys here but, it looks very similar to the Gallardo.

Not sure where they came up with the name..or what it means. When I first saw it, I thought it was an offshoot of the Turbo-Entabulator.

I believe Aventador in Spanish is the fan used to blow on a fire. 'Bellows, if you will. ( I seem to remember it also refers to a pitchfork like implement used in agriculture...but, I won't swear to that either.)
Evidently there must have been a bull by that name? :shrug
I read somewhere, waaay back when, that all Lambo's were meant to "Go Like The Wind" and thus all of the model names where named after a "Wind".
btw a 2nd Grand Unvailing will be at the University of Washington, where the composite materials were developed for this car.
Okay...now I DEFINITELY like it! And it would look nasty in black!
('Wish they'd have included a full on shot of the rear though.)
