So where is this aux plug for the Mcintosh ? I cannot find it in my manual or car ? I sure hoped the unit would play MP3s but it seems many high end units don't. Anyone have a theory here.

The radio has two RCA inputs in the back. You have to pull the head unit (requires a special tool) to get to them.

What Fubar said. There are a couple of people that managed to reach the 2 RCA inputs without pulling the unit, but nobody believes them :0.

It can be done, but is probably easier to pull the the head if you got the tool.

I had mine done as we fixed the heating control knob and the whole center tunnel came off...\
