Anyone with a Hennessy upgrade?

Does anyone have a Hennessey modification? I saw their turbo modification and was wondering how it compared to the others that have been on the site.

Any thoughts?

also, Heffner is in Florida, Hennesey is in Texas.

Hennessey has been a good friend of mine for a long time! He had some problems a few years ago, but has completely turned things around. He did the work on my GT, and I'd send any of my friends to him. He's got a huge, top notch facility, and he does incredible work!

I would treat them as any other vendor. Search SVTPerformance and SRT10 forums to get different customer's opinions about how they felt about dealing with hennessy. Might make you feel really safe about dealing with them, or it might make you want to run away, but at least you'll have a ton of first hand accounts to listen to.

That being said, there's two shops in FL doing a turbo kit, and it sounds like their customer satisfaction rate might be a tad higher. :thumbsup

I'm pretty sure John has never done a turbo GT.

Hennessey does pullys, dyno tuning, installs exhausts, Accufab parts, Heffner parts etc. but I don't think he has gone as far as developing a turbo kit for the GT yet.

If I do a pully he will be the one to do it however I'm more interested in the Whipple now and am looking into who would be the best to install it. I haven't talked to John about it yet.

That's not a huge deal, and if you're close, he'd be the one to see. If you're in Florida, Heffner is the man too! I know both guys personally, and I'd definitely trust either with my car!

No specs sound, weight, temp or power info.

we use the ford racing / borla system. its the quietest option available. other less restrictive systems reduce heat and weight but are louder. as a general rule, no one exhaust system is going to make any significant power increase over the other ones. so make your choice on sound level and if you track the car, less heat and weight could be a benefit.
