Was really fun seeing all the Shelby hardware and Hubble software out at SM...
Got the privilege to spend time talking with Allen Grant. What a great guy. He shared lots of Shelby/Le Mans GT stories. It was really interesting talking with him. A little side note- the guy sitting next to him in the AC is an 18 year old George Lucas...
Some of you may remember the film American Graffiti, well apparently George Lucas used Allen as the inspiration for the Jonn Milner character. :thumbsup

You should come to the Shelby American collection party this fall. Lots of the old Shelby crew show up there including Allen. More correctly it is those that are healthy enough. Bondurant usually makes it. Grant and others. Pete Brock sometimes too but he's almost always at the vegas c&c on Sat morning.

Sounds great. We have spent time with Peter too. Fun to rub elbows with some of these remaining guys that made history!
