Marv Rose and son have been in the biz of selling Vipers for a while. I am looking at buying a GT unseen from them...
Has anybody heard or had dealings with them?

I know them very well, Marv has been our Viper club regional vp for 10 years or so. I sold a Viper to him once and it was as straightforward and pleasant a transaction as it could possibly be.

I would be happy to go over to his showroom and look at it for you, if you would like. Are you interested in the blue one or the red one?

Actually it is neither... It is a late 05 (titled in 5/06) 4 option silver... He's buying it... but since it is on the East Coast he' s offered it to me. He could not show me pics but he's stating it's in perfect condition...

Now I just have to wire over $150k for a car I have never seen... This is why I am asking...

I can tell you Marv does these deals all the time. I can also advise you he is a friend of AWSUM aka as Jerry. Jerry does not suffer fools. I would be more concerned about inspecting the car than Marv Rose... Hope you join the fold.

Marv inspected the car for me.. so I need to trust his judgement on this.
The car is in Massachusetts. He's buying it for stock.

He said that if I wanted it he'd sell it to me and ship it to NC rather than back to Fresno.

He said he knows the owner and has seen the car and it is beautiful.

But I have no way of seeing it... unless I fly up and meet with his transport, see the car and decide.

The timing in all this sucks because I am out from Friday for next week.

He's thinking of having the car picked up between Friday and Monday.

He's not pressuring me to buy the car at all. He's just saying that the car is there, it's a late 05 Silver and has already people in line (they want to see the car before they commit) for when the car hits Fresno.

Now I happen to love the Silver... still I feel a chill going down my spine at the thought of buying a car without inspection.

I hear where you are coming from. If Marv personally inspected the car, or someone he trusts did a PPI, I would buy the car. There are some dealers with great reputations. like Fantasy Junction where Jason the Harrier pilot bought his car from that have been around for a long time and their reputations are impecable and realize that they are on the line with every transaction. By the way, Jason bought a silver car as well, my favorite color and very rare as well.
 
I have known Marv for years. I am ther prersident of the same region of the Viper club of America where Marv serves as the VP. If Marv is buying the car it will be a good car. Almost any used car is going to have a few small nicks or rock dings but they are usually very minor. I would feel safe buying from Marv. I actually have purchased a few Vipers through Marv and had zero issues. You will be happy with the purchase.
