Will be in Vegas on Sunday for the week and thought the Mrs. and I might do a cruise. Anyone know of any rental places that have a GT?
Thanks
Trent

I remember seeing one on a lot on the strip, somewhat between Bellagio and Mandalay Bay. Won't be cheap.

Thanks Frank I will check it out. :thumbsup

I'll be leaving Vegas Sunday morning after the ///M Fest weekend event. Driving my GT amongst about 100 Bimmers, Viper GTS, 997 TT, a 997 GT3 and some other exotics.

A couple pics from a very fun Vegas weekend, March 7-9, 2008:

There use to be 3 rental places on the Strip as I recall. 'Never saw a FGT in any of 'em. (But, that doesn't mean they didn't have one & it was just RENTED at the time, I guess.)

The only current rental place I can recall is on the east side of the Strip in a little "mini mall" north of the MGM Grand. 'Nicest car they had when we last went by there (2/11 - 2/15) was a Benz Rdstr.

Thanks Larry, I'll see what I can find - may end up with a MB roadster if I can't find a GT. :thumbsup

I don't think the location "across from the Stardust" (mentioned on the above 'site) is there anymore. I think they "bagged" that one when the Stardust was leveled.

Somebody also use to have one beside the "Westward Ho" for a short time (across from The Wynn). But, THAT went bye-bye when THAT hotel bit the dust too...

Last time I was there ... Summer 2005 - there were two games in town...

1) Dream car rentals as mentioned above (http://www.dreamcarrentals.com/vehicles.php)

and

2) Rent-a-Vette
http://www.rent-a-vette.com/

Rent a Vette seemed to have a better selection of well maintained cars.

Dream car rentals had a fly by night feel to it (though they have been around since at least 2001). Dream Car was having problems with their Vipers overheating... their solution.... pull the A/C (in Vegas)!!!

Rent-a-vette told me that they had a GT on order in 2005. Since then I've checked the site occasionally and it has never shown up. I don't think anybody in Vegas has a GT, but if you find out differently please report back and let us know.

Trent, just boogaloo over to the Wynn and buy the one in the basement.
