Another Scam?

I got a phone call today.

Caller started off the conversation by saying my name and said " I see by our records your Ford Gt extended warranty coverage has expired but we can offer you a special deal to extend your coverage.


Instantly I was suspect and smelled a rat but I played along for a bit.

When I asked how he got my name and phone number and even knew the year of the car the line went dead.


I am the second owner and I have never had the extended warranty.

To my knowledge NO ONE has ever had an "extended warranty".

'Wonder if the guy was calling from Nigeria...?! :facepalm:

I just received a notice by snail mail today, marked "2nd notice" offering to sell me an extended warranty on an Audi that I never owned.

Nah, they wanted more for a warranty for a car that I don't own, than I paid for the car!!!
