Has anyone changed out their air filter yet?

I ordered a K&N drop-in replacement. I popped the clamshell and had a look around, and it appears the top of the airbox is secured by umpty-ump screws.

Is this the case or is their another way in I'm missing?

Cheers!

LONGHORN, there are 8 torx head screws underneath on both halves, the k+n will give you 2 to 3 hp increase and 3 to 4 degrees temp drop, on the machine. I have always used them they do make just the right amount of breathing improvement. P.S IF YOU WENT WITH THE BORLA/FORD RACING EXHAUST YOU WOULD BE AT 6 HP INCREASE AND 5 DEGREES COOLER. FYI - I tried to get in to access the torx screws - to get to the rear ones you need to be a contortionist, a circus midget, or apparently the rear clamshell must be removed (2-man job).

Longhorn,

Easiest thing to do is just remove the air-box. Two screws and loosen the hose clamp and you are there.
