Well got my Acufab exhaust installed at the rally by THE GT GUYS.
Tested my system against Ida, Tubi, Borla exhaust, Borla exhaust with headers and straight headers.

In my book I made the best choice.

Tonight I got a call from John, Acufab's owner and he wanted to know if I was a happy camper. HELL YES! THANKS JOHN for expressing out a system for me.

May I recommend Acufab to you for you GT? :cheers :party :cheers

Now if only Accufab can improve upon that 3 week backlog/delivery time...

Eric

How about a sound clip please, thanks

MG

Im dying to hear a soundclip of all the systems. I cant wait till my Accufab is off backorder :willy Is it really going to be another 3 weeks?

Probably not 3 weeks for you, ETW. I think you are already in the "queue".

Eric

I have no idea if anyone made a recording, I did not. I can tell you that the workmanship, sound, ZERO drone, makes ACUFAB the choice. I am happy as a pig in sheeeeet :thumbsup :biggrin :thumbsup

Sidebar story, I was invited to dinner on Wednesday night with Alex Borla, he is a very fine gentleman. The dinner conversation was most educational to say the least. Then we walked out of the Ritz to get a breath of air. My car had to be moved, I was a little sheepish when I started #1153 because everyone knew it was not a Borla.

Sidebar story #2, when John called last night to get my input, I was floored.
How many biz owners call a new customer to see if they are happy?? John's racing records speak for themselves.

There were clips made of the "sound off". DBK will probably post them.

How loud is it? Is it still comfortable in the cabin, can hear the radio, etc. Do you think freeing up space in the back helps any with heat dispensation at all?

Thanks,

Brad

Not lound unless you your hammering the car. Normal conversation is indeed possible as is radio playing. Ask CobraJeff who was riding shotgun with me at the rally./...

Got a Borla but have not installed it yet. Did you go from stock? How is it under idle, low throttle, medium throttle and WOT? I want too get something done this week.

Thanks.

Obviously Borla is a sponsor of our Rally, so I will let somebody else jump in.
Lots of people at the Rally saw my system, and Borla dominated the Rally.
Borla is top quality, no doubt about that.

Bony,

Thanks for the kudos. It is much appreciated. The back order list is gone temporarily and we are shipping orders within a couple days now. As new products always are, filling the pipeline up front is always an issue. Even though we feel we have a great product, we also need to give it a little time before committing to a massive production run because we never know how well a new product will be received by the consumers. Currently we are producing a couple per day.

Thanks again,

I'm looking forward to hearing the Accufab system Aug. 27 during the trip up to Santa Barbara from Pacific Palisades (assuming someone will have one on). I took a call from John a week and a half ago, responding to an email I sent. Very interesting and educational conversation about the Accufab exhaust system and flash tuner options. Seeing testimonials like Bony's all but seals the deal....just need to put my own ears to the test :banana

Mine will be here friday :banana

HA, didn't realize the man was on here!

Have you done any cam swaps in a FGT?

God willing, see you in Santa Barbra :biggrin

John (Accufab),

If the backlog has abated, I'll be ordering an exhaust today.

Eric

Again, I would like a good *.wav of the exhaust and then would order.

John, if you've got somebody in the area with one of your exhausts I would have no problem using my camcorder to make a vid or 2. Let me know.

This is George Klass at Accufab. John is in Detroit, won't be back in the office until late Monday afternoon or on Tuesday. As far as the back-orders for the Accufab X-Pipes, we will be able to fill the existing orders by the first of next week. Better call up and get on "the list" if you want something shipped by next week.
