A life ambition:a vintage GT40,A 2006 will do !!

good day all, my first post on this forum, been reading it for a while but am now in. My life long ambition since i was a kid was to own a 66 or 67 Gt, oh well, haven't got a million dollars to spend on one, too many cars in the stable.....I'm going to buy a new one, hopefully a 2006. Really undecided on the color, first pick would be Blue, second yellow, third red, 4th black....I don't know.....whatever I can find I guess...well my 2 cents....nice to chime in. greg

Well, then. Let me be the first to welcome you to The 'Forum!:thumbsup

(Uh, BLUE is always the color to get ...automotively speaking.:lol)

Welcome, and best wishes in finding the car you are looking for. If it only came in one color, Ford still would have sold 4000, and the great majority of us would be owners.

Good luck on your search !!!

nice meeting you guys, yup looks like 175,000.00 average price for a good GT...I'm selling a house on the water at Cape Cod.....then the GT....gettin itchy !!!!

hope real estate market on the cape is better than Cal-fool-nia.
if it is on Fire Island we have some folks from San Francisco that we would love to send you! :)

I hear you on your long unfulled dream of owning a Ford GT....
The very same burning desire that brought me to my 2005 midnight blue metallic beauty. :banana

Bony, oh yes but the "fire island" people are at the END of Cape Cod....Province Town...lol

I think I recognize you from the M5 board?

Good luck in your quest!

Yes, the M5 board, another passion, I have some BMW's also....a 520H.P. M5 is WAY different than the power of a GT............and handling to boot !!!
