A couple of techy questions...

This has broken tabs written all over it. And I imagine this part is long ago NLA. But thanks for the tip.

There are Foglight lens covers on eBay (no affiliation) ;

You must not have shopped headlights yet.

You can carefully pry the plastic covers off with some upholstery tools. First work on the two guides located closest the edge of the fender. Push down on the middle to clear the top clip…then the bottom up. Subsequently move the piece out of the remaining clips. See pic.
Those guides have little nuts on the back of them and make it impossible to remove from the outside. You have to go from the inside fender well to remove the nuts. And then you can pop the lens out and clean it.

Guess you're not aware that there are no more safety inspections in Texas for non-commercial vehicles. Just OBDII scan/emissions. We can run on bald tires and no functional lights. Yay!:oops:

Not in Harris or Fort Bend county (where I live). Did this with my FGT in Feb and it wasn't any different than normal, had to flip the lights on. At least we don't have to let the inspection guy drive the car like it was 15-20 years ago.

Did the shop you went to also recommend changing your muffler fluid?

Guess your inspection station wasn't aware of the change.

Just came back from getting the CS done. Plugged in then gave me my PASS inspection sheet. No flipping of lights or turning on the wipers.

Maybe, hard to say

Isn't that exactly what the diesel additive is?

Maybe y'all are thinking about the blinker fluid.

Or flux capacitor.

That inspection station would probably say it is needed for electric cars.
