For Sale, 1967 GT500 #2678 is a Lime Gold, black interior 4 spd. with 31 K orig miles. It has always been a completely rust free car that was off the road from 1974 til it was finished being restored in 2002. Since then has been driven about 1700 miles. The interior is all orig except the carpet, the car rides on orig Goodyear small letter tires and its orig shocks and springs. the date correct 428 PI with orig BJ BK carbs run perfectly. This car is correct and need nothing. I have pictures of the car from when the orig. owner purchaced the car new at Pete and Hitch Ford in NJ. Its story is on page 1093 in the 2011 registry and also appeared in The Shelby American # 71 pg, 10. It had won 1st place at SAAC 34 in the popular vote. I recently got the car back from the America on Wheels muesum where it was on loan for a muscle cars display they had there but don't let all that mislead you, this is a completely sorted and driveable car that runs and drives just like it was 1967. I currently have 3 other vintage Mustangs and I feel this car has run its course with me from finding it, to restoring it, to driving and showing, to winning a 1st at a national convention, and finally to it being in a muesum.
