I got the Sparco 3" 4-point racing harness from a distributor in Cali. Dealerships or speed shops can do the installation for you but it is something that is simple enough that you could do it yourself. I paid about $650 just for the bolt kits and harnesses for both driver and passenger (you've got to pamper the passenger as well hehe). Anyway, you can go to the Sparco website to order directly or look for a local distributor. Also, the beauty is that you don't drill any new holes!! You just unscrew the two bolts that are found right behind the seat at shoulder level and install the bolt kit. It's a beauty let me tell you!! Psychologically it makes you feel safe and more comfortable with the car. Since I don't have blue roof stripes on my GT, I chose a black belt and it has the "Sparco" name written in white on a blue background so it ties nicely with the blue side stripes. Black is just more understated, more elegant and would still tie with the blue stripes. Also I've ordered, yet not installed, the cushions that slip into the harness and protect your shoulders in case of hard braking. Let me know if you have any questions!

what model sparco harness?? they have many

I have the same setup in mine. Black Sparco 3" shoulders and 2" lap. A bit of a pain to get in and out of (be sure you close the door first!) but they sure feel and look good.

I went 3in all the way. You need two "snap in kit" and two "bolt in kit" for every seat that you do. Then I had two 48in shoulder belts and you can choose either a "pull up lap" or a "pull down lap" belt. My harness pads are on the way. You do need to be careful when closing the door as the ends of the belt may get caught between the door sill and the door itself. Also I suggest that after the install you place some 3M clear tape on the inside portion of the door sill so that it doesn't get scratched by any buckles.

Here's a shot of my belts. As you can see I removed the "Sparco" labels...thought it looked better that way.

Thanks for all info, belts are my next purchase item. Look like 3" Sparco's the one.
