Anyone organizing a trip to Daytona for the 24 hours in January?
 
I’ll prob go. I would be in the Rolex lounge area.

A bunch of us will be there.
 
Peggy and I will be there. Bought our Rolex Lounge tickets today. I know the Porsche digs are a better deal but the Rolex Lounge is nicer, higher, and right over the start/finish line. Highly recommended. See you there!

Rolex Lounge ticket purchased
 
I would like to purchase my flight to Daytona. What time should I plan on arriving at the track?
 
Last year there was a dinner Friday night. Not sure that will happen this time around but you may want to consider that in your travel plans.

It depends on how much you want to see. Last year I was there all day Thursday and Friday .practice, qualifying get to see some behind-the-scenes stuff in the garage area...
 
Agreed, the warm up days are usually the best to see people, talk to teams etc.
 
Just bought our two tickets for Rolex Lounge from Nancy (above) over the phone and she says to pass on to the forum that the hospitality 3 day ticket is in very short supply now. Nancy works Mon - Friday 9 to 5.

If you are flying out of DTW, fly into Orlando if you prefer non-stop. About an hour drive.
 
I'll be there. Driving down on Friday.

FYI, Ford Performance has a Mustang Corral. I know most people already have plans/tickets.

My daughter Megan and son in law Ryan are attending and will be in the Rolex Lounge for all 3 days... (Margaret and I are NOT attending).
