Not sure I understand where they are coming from. They do the cash so people can pay taxes on the winnings. This is a 500k+ car now. Anyone with a lick of sense would take that car and sell it for 500k pay taxes and capital gains and still be ahead. Or take the car and drive the snot out of it. I wonder if the 1099 for the car will be FMV or the 250k...

Still less than buying one outright I guess.
