40k starting? I call SCAM!
 
The reason for the 40K starting price

On Ebay I heard that you have to pay a listing fee based on what your starting asking price is. That explains why many many items are on ebay for one cent, the listing fee is smaller that way.
Also it generates a certain amount of excitement as bids roll up to what the real starting price should have been; gets some momentum going...
 
And what about that $13000 pricetag for the paint

I have not had a sports car custom painted for decades so am out of touch with the prices but I heard this Heritage paint job is $13,000.
Is that high? I asked S. Saleen and he said it is not, that he charges $20,000 for custom paint on the S7
