Did you guys see Fords' posted losses for the first quater of the year? 1.2 billion dollars, ouch!!
They're talking about serious restructuring, I certainly hope that that doesn't entail letting go the few and far between GT techs. Well, I guess I'll have to lay off the GM comments for the time being.

Knew it was coming. Giant one time charges are ugly, but sometimes you gotta take em to stay in biz. Ford's position is still markedly better than GM, though by no means "good".

one of their biggest problems, if not the biggest is their outrages worker expenses, unions are purting a hurting on both FoMoCo and GM

Call me nuts, but I went in yesterday in the high 6's. The seemingly cyclical swings of the company over the past 60 months have shown resistance at that level, so why not take the plunge just in case...
