Has anybody had to have their NFGT transmission replaced?

Going on transmission #2 on my 2022. First one tapping, replaced, then leaking. 30k miles.

not bad mileage for the speed

It drops down over a while and somehow eventually resets to 999. I suspect their algorithm for mpg is good, maybe not so much for mph.

not bad mileage for the speed

Pointed this out to Ford and the forum years ago, but still amused by it. Trip computer avg mpg and mph. Reset can correct it for a while but I'm too entertained.

    Starter

Waiting on delivery of a new starter motor. Almost a quarter of the time, pressing the starter button results in a horrible grinding and I have to be fast pressing the stop button. Then, most of the time, it engages smoothly. Still under warranty. Any other starter motor failures and at what...

It will only scrape on the bottom. You need never even see it. Scrapes happen, don’t worry about it (from a well scraped bottom!). The worst that would probably occur is you would need to straighten the aluminum rods that hold it in form to remove the “smile” when it bends the rods.

Still rock solid (except for the $40 sending unit failure years ago on a rally trip so add another 2400 miles).

    How long for backordered parts

10000 miles and oil dripping from back driver side bumper. Transmission fluid, second nFGT occurrence. Tube assembly, but both sides.

    You spelled “winner” incorrectly.
