    Pocket sized tire inflators

You will find that the energy from the 12v car battery will inflate the tire a lot faster and to higher pressure than any "pocket inflator."

    Mouse repellant

Traps and poison bait work. You have to keep resetting, rebaiting and replenishing, but I have suppressed the critters in my garage and shop. If they got inside the walls or other parts of the structure (and they usually do), you have to be aggressive over 6 months or so to get rid of them...

    Center console paint problem

Hachi-san, nice work. Others: My 2005 lived most of its life on the East Coast before moving to WA state 6 years ago, so it lived in a humid environment. It does not have any corrosion of the center console. Therefore, I suspect that the consoles with corrosion were the result of poor...

    73 911 dream

Yeah, Singer has made beau coup money backdating 964's to long hoods. Of course there's more to a Singer than the bodywork. Still, at $1M or so, that's a lot of coin.

    New cupholder option

That's twice what I paid--10 years ago! Must be the tariffs.

Here’s what it looks like in my car.

    Pocket sized tire inflators

Are you asking about the stuff in a can, like Fix-a-Flat, or some kind of electric pump?

Ed--what? You didn't like the $7.99 thingie I put in my car? Too low class for ya?

    73 911 dream

Mine is a “sleeper.” Other than the black wheels (16x7 Fuchs with Michelin AS3+ 205/55) it looks pretty stock. Under the deck lid it has a SC engine stroked to 3.2 with a Turbo crank and rods, higher CR Mahle Sport pistons and M1 cam so I continue running the SC CIS injection. At some point I...

    2026 ZR1

You're not the only one that doesn't care for the design of the C8. That said, they are the best value in performance by far. I owned a '64 roadster many years ago and loved it.

Ron, What engine do you have in it?

    73 911 dream

I bought mine over 33 years ago. After that much time together, I don’t think there is a part on it that my hands haven’t touched.

    Definitely watching this thread.

Missing all docs except title - still purchase?

If it recently had $28,000 of work, then I would call the GT Garage and ask their opinion of the car for a driver, or go visit them. Given the recent work, that's about as good a PPI as you could get. Do a Carfax check too. Otherwise, if the price is good, I would buy the damn thing. Then...

    Defuel?

I think "bd" is one of those guys who marries a supermodel, then saves her for the next guy. ;)

    Defuel?

Ask the PO when they last put fuel in it and how long they ran the engine (if you're really anal, I think you can read the engine hours off the ECU through the display, and if you can't, a dealer can). If refueled in the last two years, I wouldn't worry about it. If it starts easily and runs...

New Owner - Recently Arrived in ND

That's the power steering "return hose" to the reservoir, i.e., the low pressure side.

    Throtl FGT Build Series

Excellent video. I am very glad to hear that CSF is making cooling stacks for the GT and a transmission cooler. No more $5000 AC condensers, etc. Of course, we will have to see where the final price ends up.

    Single Post Lift Question

The single post lift has steel legs that go under the vehicle. They can be dug into the floor to keep the floor flat. So don't worry that the vehicle is cantilevered on one side of the lift column.

    Dead link. maybe OBE?
