I'd recommend he find a 2006 maybe with a few more miles. The Ford GT looks great in any color but Silver is my least favorite. No offense meant to the Silver Ford GT owners out there but they didn't build a lot of them in that color for a good reason and it wasn't a shortage of silver paint LOL

That sounds awfully low. Personally it is my favorite color combination for a lot of reasons one of which is that no matter what color GT you ordered the interior was black and silver. Ditto for the visible chassis through the hatch, plus the wheels and tires. So to my eye the other colors...

Very few would want a Ford GT as an only car but I have lots of other cars (Bentley Continental GT, Porsche GT3, BMW M3, Mercedes AMG etc.) and if I had to go down to only one car it would be the GTR.

I also own both, my GTR is a 2014 replacing my 2009. If I had to part with one it would be the GTR. If I could only own one car it would be the GTR.

Make sure it fits well and spend the extra money for a carbon fiber model. Helmets protect your most important asset, CF is lighter, stronger and looks so cool :-)

Similar story for me today. Took the GT out of heated storage today and the tach is dead, guess my awesome luck with this car just ran out. Owned it now 8 years and this will be the first repair it needs. Hard to bitch about that!

Nice find. thanks! BTW I recently returned from the Monterey Historics where I saw pretty much everything automotive on the road including hundreds of Ferraris, dozens and dozens of Lambos and even a couple of Bugatti Veyrons but not a single Ford GT. Talk about exclusivity :-)

Every other car on the planet looks better to my eye in race trim except the FGT. It's just so gorgeous just the way Pardo designet it. But the FGT race cars do look awesome.

Makes one appreciate how truly gifted F1 drivers must be to tame those beasts.

I think we all can agree it ain't pretty. I used to like bimmers but haven't been able to get past the looks for the past decade or so. Let's hope the new head designer has better taste. Maybe they can hire Pardo.
