    Oil Pump Belt

Thank you for the information. Do you sell them? I'd be interested but i would need the belt sent to switzerland and usually american companies sadly don't do that. And i couldn't find it in switzerland at the moment.

    Oil Pump Belt

Are these official ford replacements? I'm a bit scared to just put in any belt as a failure of it means a blown engine.

2006 Ford GT Oilpump and Serpentine Belts

Thanks for the information. I have seen that you can get online access to workshop manuals on the Motorcraft page for 21.95 USD for 72 hours. https://www.motorcraftservice.com/Purchase/ViewProduct I'll check that out before i order a workshop manual and if it can't be saved with reasonable...

2006 Ford GT Oilpump and Serpentine Belts

You've got a point with the coolant hoses. I never thought about it since i've never worked on a car that had a time/milage interval for those but you could make that argument. Thank you very much for the information. So you don't change the supercharger/accessory belt by a fixed time interval...

2006 Ford GT Oilpump and Serpentine Belts

I already bought the airlift kit. Getting the coolant in isn't a problem once you have it. I have more of a problem with getting it out. The two valves at the radiators never empty the whole system. That's why i'd like to remove the allen plugs at the side of the block with fumoto valves. Is...

2006 Ford GT Oilpump and Serpentine Belts

I am aware. I am not talking about the two plugs in the oil pan. I guess i changed topics a bit rapidly. I am talking about the two coolant plugs in the engine block. I'd like to remove those but with the red loctite on them i'd rather just exchange them for valves so i don't have to wear down...

2006 Ford GT Oilpump and Serpentine Belts

I agree. I will start changeing the oil pump belt every ten or twelve years. Thanks for the tip with the fumoto valve. Seems like a good idea. I will check it out. Are they available for the coolant plugs at the side of the engine block? Because i've read on here that to get a significant...

2006 Ford GT Oilpump and Serpentine Belts

Thank you for the information. I‘ve done the oil change a couple of times now and once you know how to do it it‘s pretty straight forward. Ten years for belts seems like a good interval and what i plan to do. In ford europe most vehicles have an interval from 8 to 12 years depending on the car...

2006 Ford GT Oilpump and Serpentine Belts

I‘ve read on here that it should be changed if the engine hasn‘t run at least 30 minutes every year for three years. I am not sure there is a time interval for engines that run regularly.

Thank you for the answer. I suspected that. What age is the general consensus here in the forum? Regards

2006 Ford GT Oilpump and Serpentine Belts

Hi Guys I'm from switzerland and my dad is the happy owner of a 2006 black with silver stripes and bbs wheels GT. Since I have the training as a mechanic i do all the mechanical work on the car. I have a question regarding the belts (oilpump, and the two serpentine belts). How do you guys...

    Supercharger and Engine Coolant Change

Hello. Thank you for the reply. Are the plugs the ones just below the welch plug with the red sealent on them? Does anyone know the torque for these and if it's necessary to seal them somehow?

    Supercharger and Engine Coolant Change

Hi everybody Soon I'd like to change the supercharger and engine coolant of my fathers GT. I already have done it once but i noticed that i couldn't get all of the fluid out of the two systems. I openend the valves in the front of the car on the radiators. Are there any other valves or plugs...
