Before you do anything pull a CarFax and the Ford Oasis report. It’s not a silver bullet but it’s the right first move.

For anyone concerned about changing out their battery I used the Deka recommended by TO AWSUM and there were no issues. Easy to buy from many sources including Amazon. No core charge with Amazon. That’s what this Forum is all about and what makes it great.

They are right about banging your head but I’ve been so careful about that I did a strange maneuver cleaning in the drivers area before a rally (maybe window or mirror) and as I was in egress I slammed my elbow so hard into the edge of the door (where we all crank our noodle) that 2 months later...

Question Humming along at the speed limit would one get a quick “heads up” and feel something before disaster strikes? For instance ,...like when one is about to throw a wheel on a Mustang bc they didn’t torque down properly on the lugnut.....you feel it.

That was nice and stout,...the price,..for a 1700 mile car. Perhaps someday they will sell for more than a NFGT. :geek: 😂

Thnx for all the info guys. I’m not looking forward to this but at least I’m more comfortable with the shadetree mechanic JOB. If the clam stays on does the bumper have to come off?

I want to pull the OEM muffler and go muffler delete. Can I do this from below after I pull the belly pans or do I need to do it from above which I’m guessing would require removal of the clamshell? Thanks for the help.

Not terribly complicated once you have done it once. Like the first time you run a 1/2 marathon.
