Even with Television access my go to is Radio Lemans. Tons of information and stories. It's just not Lemans without those gentleman's broadcasts.

Carlisle Ford Nationals - Ford GT Gathering - June 6-8, 2025

Wish I could go. Besides Lemans this is the grand (none racing) event of the year! Dang can't even get a t-shirt haha. Oh well at least I will be taking my 2019 to a Concours on the 6th and 7th in OC. Last year we had over 40 former Shelby American employees who worked at SA during the 60s...

Ford Le Mans 2025 - Hospitality Package

If I were able to go this year it would have been LM trip number 6. Usually for two weeks, one for racing and the other with family/friends and to explore the country. My 11th century apartment sits at the base of the 'Roman Wall' in the Plantangenet City close to Saint Julien Cathedral. What...

    NFGT Production Numbers

Thanks all. Hung my 1350 poster beneath a mural I put together. Frame work made with light gauge metal studs and track, and rigid insulation board backing. Double sided tape holds the image in place to the board. Using the 1350 poster to scale off of It's good size!

    NFGT Production Numbers

Car show season is now in full swing and so I'm updating my sign I lay on the windshield so some folks that are clueless know a little more of what is parked before them. I have included some production stats on my sign and want to be 100% accurate, as much as possible. What I have is: 1350...

2004 Ford GT Prototype at Mecum Indy For Charity

Wow, what a great story regarding the prototypes and how they were to be handled. Also some great memories of the early Rallies, which is just as fascinating to me since I did not come aboard until mid 2009 when I bought my 2005. (I still have it and I'm original owner). You can have nearly...

    First Gen Cars.

IMO, Actually the 05/06 GTs are are 2nd Generation. BAT wrongly refers to them as 1st. As follows, 1st Gen: 1964 to 1969 and continuation cars. 2nd Gen: 05/06. 3rd Gen: 2017 to current. Lots of great advice here and I don't think you can go wrong with either a low or high mile car as they are...

    Sinovac

I am very saddened to hear of his passing, way to young. He will really be missed for sure, always had an enlightening perspective and something clever to say. Let's all go out soon and take one of our cars for a long drive in his honor.

    Mighty Heritage

You got that right, ridiculous! I'm keeping mine as long as the lord allows, driving and driving and then driving some more. Good thing the 2nd generation GT (05/06) is bullet proof. IMHO with proper and careful maintenance it is a 200K mile plus car. Before any really major work.

Racing the GT - is it capable ?

You're welcome indeed. The GT is way to go for the groceries! Or dropping of the kids at school (when it's the busiest of coarse), Beer runs or any other errands you might need to do 🙂

    Mighty Heritage

The predictions are coming true. I heard someone say once.... "Someday you'll say to yourself, I remember when 05/06 GTs were only a mere 350, or 400 for a Heritage and now they're a Mil plus. Ah the good ole days" And that was for the very low mile examples, which now even a few thousand...

Racing the GT - is it capable ?

Besides Matech Competition and Marc-DVS there was Robertson Racing; Third place and a podium in GTE-AM In 2011, 24 HRS of Lemans. Started the race in second to last position, lost two laps due to Paddle Shift issue, still managed consistent performance. Andrea Robertson drove the last stint...
