Going in for a clutch but still light when 1st started, then goes to a slightly harder feel. Spoke to the ford gt agent in america they said if the car was in the usa then they could have a look at it under warranty. So unless i want to change every part and pay for it then that is the only way...

re:pulley Had the pulley done. A lot sharper.Had it done at roush in the uk.No probs at all!!!!!!

Jay Anand David Jones @ Roush is dealing with my car. Yur right they know these cars inside out, but said to me to change all the pipes or even to check all these components relating to the rack is very costly.So suggested to speak to all you guys and see if we could narrow this problem...

.........Took car out yesterday.Dont think it could be the caster settings as the steering is light when it is 1st started then goes slightly harder a few minutes later, but im no mechanic i could be wrong.Someone mentioned it could be the oil cooler for the steering, could that be it...?Any...

Jay Anand Thats right Paul. I have replaced both parts. Its funny because i am not sure if there is a problem. I do need to feel the steering of another gt. The problem with that is that there are only 28 official cars in the uk. And a hand full of imports, like mine. Keep u posted thanks again.

thanks for that info will speak to roush. they said that they had no idea what else could be wrong with it and to post it on gt forum maybe someone can help. so thanks again guys will keep you updated in my next threads. ps have had the power upgrade roush have pushed the power to 612bhp...

jay anand probs with steering hi paul i changed the rack and pump because Roush in the uk said that this would resolve the problem. It hasnt they also said that its slightly harder than other cars but dont know what it could be. They also said that the car is fine but i am sure that it should...

05 gt jay i didnt by the car new. But have had it cheched out when i bought it. No damage. I was in traffic in london and noticed it started getting harder. thanks for that i will speak to the garage and see what they say. I was told it could be power steering fluid cooler. Thanks. Jay

05 steering problems i am having probs with my steering. its light when i 1st start the car but goes harder soon after. ive changed the rack and pump still the same.please help.jay in london uk

i have had it done. feels greeeeeeeat. on another note my gts steering feels heavy or not as light as when i bought it.even after changing the rack and steering pump.can anybody help. thanks jay
