Just got an email from the internet manager..... He says they will sell me the car for $74,999. His email contained the vin number. Maybe I should go look at it. Maybe the lack of A/C in Arizona is hurting the sale of the car..???

FWIW, dealer near now has 2 R's. They have had an internet price on the one of $70,xxx. Only issue with it I can see is that it does not have a/c. The second car does and they do not have an internet price on it. I have to believe the car with no a/c will be a tough sale in Phoenix unless bought...

The tag on the door is for warranty purposes only. If it matches the number on the dash then it is assumed to be correct. Many doors were changed over the years and some cars don't even have the door tag. Much harder to change the one on the dash but it is still just riveted. On the early cars...

On the plus side if you decide to return the car to stock drivetrain, the 428/4-speed setup in the car will bring much more money than the 302/c-4 you will need to make the car correct.

I would think the Shelby Registry would be your best place to look. If you have the vin or the number it should not be that hard. I have heard the registry has not been updated for like 11 years though. Good Luck.

Yes, actually two small holes that are punched. I have heard that sat radio will be standard on all 09' GT500's.

The most cost effective way is to order camber bolts from BMR. $40 pr. You can also go with adjustable camber plates at about $300 set. As you found out there is no provision for camber adjustment in the new Mustang.
