There is a place here in Florida called Past Gas www.pastgas.com. They do high quality work but I don't know if they ship. I have a Shell pump that has been restored and is perfect.

I got mine in the mail today and it looks great! :) I think I am going to paint the black Ford blue, as you noted. I think it will look even better on the back of my white GT.

I stopped in Bartow Ford the other day and talked with the service manager and he said they service a number of GTs. As of now that is where I am planning on taking my car.

I grew up in Central Florida seeing the Ford GT 40s race at Sebring. Since that time the GT 40 has become my definition of what road racing cars looks like. When the GT came out I had to have one as it is as close as I will ever get to owning a GT 40.

I have used a product by Turtle Wax call Bug and Tar and Tree Sap Remover. This product should do the trick. I have used it on every car I have owned for the past 25 years and have never had any problems. I would recommend using it only in the spots needed and then rewax the car. Good Luck.

I have owned a 550 and the GT is a very very different car. The 550 is more of a grand touring type of car and the GT is more of a sports car like bony stated. The feel of the cars are worlds apart. The GT is in a class of it's own. I currently own a 360 and can't even compare the GT to that...
