Congrats Shark! I absolutely love mine. It makes me giggle like a little kid every time I drive it.

    Charlotte GT technician?

You ain’t kidding. It’s super tough. There’s a couple of us that have our cars within a couple minutes of each other. We might work on bringing someone in from out of town.

    Charlotte GT technician?

I am not sure if Dex is performing GT services any longer. I have fallen out of communication with him. Are there any other local GT owners that would be able to provide recommendations for service?

    Market timing is bad

This was posted on Ferrarichat. It’s not a GT, but it’s an interesting data point nonetheless. It was listed for sale almost 4 years ago for $164,500 with 12,900 miles. Just sold a RM Sotheby’s Monterey for $440,000 with 14,060 miles. As we sit at the crossroads between ICE and...

Got it! Now I need to upgrade the stock floormats. Any ideas?

They wipe down easily with a damp rag. I worried that they might scuff and show wear, but so far, so good.

Got it! Now I need to upgrade the stock floormats. Any ideas?

I can’t say enough good things about Andrew at Exoticare. I have had him build 6 different sets of mats over the years. Here’s a couple crappy iPhone pics of the mats he did for my 05 Ford GT.

    Recommendations for incoming NFGT

Congrats on your GT! You must be so excited. FWIW, I have found Exoshield to be far superior to Clearplex. I currently have Exoshield on three cars, and Clearplex on one car (and had it on one former car). Here are the advantages of Exoshield: thicker (5.5 mil versus 4 mil), less rainbow...

What would you be looking to buy next?

That’s odd. I was able to register in January. Decent forum. Maybe keep trying? By the way, the Viper ACR is a great car. I certainly love mine.

What would you be looking to buy next?

I think we need a little more information to properly assist. How do you drive? Where do you drive? What do like best about owning these types of cars? There are so many important factors. Personally, I like cars with clear and unique personalities. I only drive by myself on empty country...

After nearly 15 years in the making, I finally own a Ford GT

Perhaps my driving style is little more...aggressive?

After nearly 15 years in the making, I finally own a Ford GT

Love your Cobra. I like “end of era” type cars. My idea of perfection is the last/best example in a certain genre. The 05/06 Ford GT is automotive perfection, never to be duplicate. The Viper ACR is last/best version of a brutish, uniquely American mashup of old school muscle and new school...

After nearly 15 years in the making, I finally own a Ford GT

Here she is parked next to her new stablemate. To me, that’s the perfect “end of an“ American supercar combo. (Btw, I figured out how to properly post pictures).

Ooops! I guess I don’t know the right way to post pics. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I never doubled back and added any pictures. Here’s a couple glamour shots that my detailer and PPF installer had done.

New guy in FL searching for red or silver 05/06

Looks great! Congrats again. If you do drive it, make sure you have a tank full of fresh gas. When I recently acquired my Viper ACR that only had 18 miles on it, I drove it and didn’t get to the gas station quick enough to prevent a CEL. The good news is, no damage, but it scared the crap...
