Garrett turbos used on Hennessy GT1000

GT40s sound way too big and inefficient for 1,000hp. GT35s are more than enough.

    Ford GT by Jeremy Clarkson

Clarkson is a wanker. Never cared much for his over the top opinionated reviews. I'm glad he overall seemed to like it.

Ever wonder how strong carbon fiber is?

Composites can be made out of numerous materials and construction possibilities. No metal competes with the strength to weight ratio of composites.

    Ford GT Heritage Dyno Test

Why do shops still use "STD" correction factors? And no fans on the intercoolers. Where do these "journalists" come from? "Another thing we are wondering is how can Ford sell a stock Mustang with 700 hp (522 kW) for less than $100,000 but this half-a-million-dollar car (that, by...

More power to be pulled from the little engine that could?

It would be easier to buy a 3.5L and build it with a standalone ECU.

Aren't the wheels and exhaust and lug nuts options on regular cars? Anyone can remove the struts and pull out the cup holders on their cars.

I would have thought the carbon fiber would make a bigger difference than that.

    New McLaren Speedtail(bp23)

I like McLarens, but this is a disaster. While touted as 1,000hp, it's probably closer to the 720's mid-700 ICE, as the electric motor probably does not contribute to the cars top speed. But still, over 100hp more than the 30-year old F1 (has less power than the new Ford GT) and not even 10mph...
