    Kindergarten question

That's correct Dick! It is sequential and in your case it was the 1,966th built in 2005. Dan here from CT, how are you?

    The Ferrari Killer...link

I can't disagree with you, he did come across as very uninformed. I wouldn't know the guy if I stepped on him, I was just saying give him a break. We all know that no matter how smart or savvy a person might be, we all make mistakes and as many smart and savvy people who are on this forum it's a...

    The Ferrari Killer...link

I guess you know all the facts! It doesn't take a brain surgeon to realize he wasn't up to speed on the car but maybe this guy got shoved into doing this interview. Don't you think also that maybe it was the mag doing the video that should have been sure the facts were straight. Maybe he was...

    Interesting comments in Autoweek

I admire your devotion prmoldoaks but inevitably something else will eclipse the GT. It might take 10 years but that's progress. I personally think they've already built 1500 too may and yes exclusivity should exist with a product like this. I live in the Northeast where their does not seem to...

    Nitrogen fill in tires

JPW, We are going to offer the first fill at delvery on the house and when the yearly renewal occurs it will be up to the customer to choose if they want to pay for it or not. The reason for our approach is that if it truly shows a benefit to the client (i.e. tires never going low, improved ride...

    Nitrogen fill in tires

TM and Lightning thanks for the input, your responses seem very accurate with what the company promoting the product says it will do. I drove my GT home last night after the application and unless I was having some 60's flashbacks the car seemed to "float" more then prior to the fill. Did not...

    Nitrogen fill in tires

Guys, has anyone tried nitrogen in their GT tires yet? We just incorporated it at our car dealership and I am trying it in the GT. Basically you remove the air in the tires down to 3 psi and refill to the factory spec with nitrogen. Supposedly their are a lot of benefits including tire life...

    Broken GT

Thankfully no one was hurt, especially the Mom in the minivan loaded with kids on their way home from school and minding their own business. Rocman is right, knock out his one tooth and hit him so hard his smelly clothes will be out of style when he wakes up...

    New Owner, and 1st Question

Congrats to you Everett! :cheers I don't want to alarm you in anyway but make sure the recall on your car has been addressed! I'm not an expert but a lot of threads on this forum refer to all '05 models with a build # of less then 500 to have suspension arm fractures and a crank issue. I'm sure...

Has anyone watched their boost gauge under acceleration?

My boost gauge pegs also during hard full throttle. Have only noticed this at speed during full throttle accelerations, not at standstill or low speed full throttle. Maybe their is computer detection based on rpm and actual speed? P.S. My car is bone stock. Dan

    GT Lowered with Wheels

Dave and Rocman, How much would you guys say the ride has been compromised since lowering the car and changing the wheel size on your GT's I see Roc lives in Cali where I'm sure the road surfaces are a helluva lot smoother then here in the land of the pothole northeast. I would have to think the...

Anyknow how to interpret VIN numbers?

Actually the year of you vehicle is the 8th digit from the end! xxxxxxxxx5y402000 would mean the car is an '05. The last six of the vin is the sequential build number of that particular vehicle. The first nine digits relate to the plant the car was built in, transmission, motor etc. I'm not...

Orange Ford GT- what other colors would look good?

Thanks Sinovac and I agree totally with your statement! I own a Tungsten car but would do the BRG in a heartbeat if it was a factory color choice.

Why are the GT's dropping in prices when V8 Ferrari hold on?

Very impressive, you know your stuff! I do recall now the RR emblem being shown on the program. Try stuffing one of those into your GT!!! :biggrin

Why are the GT's dropping in prices when V8 Ferrari hold on?

Jimfro, Great program last night on I believe TLC channel! It revolved around Jack Roush and his empire but also touched on his ownership of two P 51 Mustangs. They said the motor is 1650 cubes and is a 12 cylinder, sound correct or was I half asleep? Dan

Why are the GT's dropping in prices when V8 Ferrari hold on?

Hey Doc, what do you think about my theory? 1. Ford built too many too fast therefore lost the initial leg up they had at the beginning with supply and demand! The drop off in price is directly related to the flooding of the market with the GT. You can bet pricing will stabilize very soon...
